Upcoming hearings for Mynydd Maen Wind Farm

The Inspector has determined that there will be three days of Hearings to discuss those matters
set out at Annex A of this Notice. The Hearings will be held virtually using MS Teams on the
following dates:

Tuesday 2 December 2025 at 10:00 hours
– Landscape and Visual Impact
– Public Rights of Way (Turbines 4 and 11)

Wednesday 3 December 2025 at 10:00 hours
– Ecological Matters
– Aviation, telecommunications and public safety

Thursday 4 December 2025 at 10:00 hours
– Minerals Safeguarding – sandstone
– Planning conditions and obligations
– Secondary consent application – Section 16 of the Commons Act 2006
– Secondary consent application – Section 38 of the Commons Act 2006

Our Mynydd Maen Action Group will be participating in these.
This is invite only so you will not be able to participate but can view the meeting live if you so wish.

Any such request should be sent to PEDW.infrastructure@gov.wales as soon as possible and not later than 2 weeks before the first Hearing Session if possible. However, the DNS Regulations make it clear that the choice of invited participants for any Hearing Session is a matter entirely down to the discretion of the appointed Inspector.
